The German Corporate Governance Code was published for the first time in 2002 and forms the basis for responsible company management and supervision. The current version of the German Corporate Governance Code can be found
 hier.
The Code provides recommendations and suggestions concerning the management and supervision of publicly listed companies in Germany. These are based on internationally and nationally recognised standards of high-quality, responsible company management.
The Management Board and the Supervisory Board support the basic principles of high-quality, responsible company management set out in the Code. The company implements the recommendations and suggestions contained in the Code to the extent which it deems appropriate.
